Hope you are all keeping safe and well during this difficult time. Here is a little message from some of our netballers and staff to keep your spirits high…
Hannah M, Year 13, has been selected for England under 18’s hockey squad. She has worked Extremely hard shown dedication and determination to be selected.
We are very proud of Hannah, and wish to congratulate her on this amazing success!
What a fantastic afternoon of sport we have had with our hockey and netball teams. Pearls High School in South Africa are currently touring the UK and our students have had the privilege of playing against them.
Our students were bowled over by their outstanding abilities and professionalism…some of their students even brought resistance bands and weights to warm up with.
The matches were a fantastic display of skill and resilience in what we consider quite “hot” conditions, and one of the hockey squads managed to come away with a win.
They even treated us to a song.
This was a fantastic experience for everyone involved and something they will definitely remember.
The Year 7 A and B teams competed in the Trafford Rounders Tournament. They all played very well in their first tournament. The B team came 4th in their section and the A team came 2nd in their section but with the team improving with every game, they went on to win the whole tournament!
Above is the Trafford school Year 7 rounders champions with the trophy and medals. Well done to the team!
The National Badminton Finals took place in Milton Keynes over the Bank Holiday weekend. Our students came 7th in the competition. It was a very tough competition but our students played exceptionally well!
Congratulate to Anusha G, Lavanya R, Priya B, Maariyah S, Raavi S on their success and hard work.
The Alty All Stars Netball match took place on Wednesday 3rd April. It was a great success, and we want to say a huge thank you to all the staff that came down and cheered! Especially those who made the extra effort and wore Bulls and Wolves colours and performed in the cheer squads!! Have a look at the fantastic photos of them all with their Pom poms!
It was a fantastic event for which the parents of the students involved, could all a part of and really enjoyed watching. There was an opportunity to donate money for this term’s chosen charity, so all for a good cause too.
WALKER WOLVES came out on top winning 14-12!
Last night we held our tenth annual PE and dance awards evening, it was another wonderful evening celebrating the success of the senior students. We had 120 guests and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event.
