Year 10 Bake Off Competition

On Tuesday 6th June, Olivier Trolallen from La Boheme returned to AGGS with his pastry chef, Jennie. This time it was the turn of the students to impress the two chefs with their skills. Each student had been asked to make a sweet or savoury tart with pastry. The end products were amazing. They were marked out of 30 for their appearance, flavour and quality of the pastry.

The four lucky winners, Natasha, isabelle, Georgia and Imela all won vouchers to spend at La Boheme in the restaurant, The two overall winners, Isabelle and Natasha, have been invited to spend a day in the kitchen with Jennie learning some tricks of the trade and making desserts to serve in the restaurant. What an amazing opportunity. As always, big thanks goes to Olivier and Jennie for giving up their precious time and to all the students who took part and made such fantastic efforts to create some wonderful dishes.
