The Charity Committee would like to thank everyone for supporting the recent charity events, which we have run in aid of Prevent Breast Cancer. These events have included the competitive static bike ride in the Main Hall and the Sportathon at the devisdale, as well as ‘Pink Day’ – where students donated a pound to wear a pink accessory.
The Charity Committee also enjoyed raising over £330 at Altincham Football Club last Saturday, collecting money and selling raffle tickets for the raffle, which we drew at half time. A big well done to Poppy C for being the child mascot and leading the two teams out at the beginning of the match.
We have consequently managed to raise a total of £2220 for Prevent Breast Cancer. Thank you again to everyone who has donated to this wonderful charity.
Due to popular demand the static bike ride will be returning on Monday, with a star lineup of teachers to be announced!
