A beautiful painting by year 11 student Jemima as part of her GCSE project based on ‘Performance’. It is painted on wood and her subject is one of her friends and one of our very talented dancers. She was inspired brilliantly by the work of the portrait artist Jonathen Yeo.
We are delighted to let you know that two of our outstanding young Year 11 GCSE artists have successfully had their artwork accepted for the Royal Academy Summer Show. It is an online exhibition which showcases the work of students from across the country and is such a fantastic recognition of their talent.
Huge congratulations go to Lauren A and Jenny Z!

Year 10 were invited to perform at the Danceworks community dance festival on Sunday. They performed a dance inspired by the Ibrox Stadium disaster of 1971, when 66 people lost their lives and more than 200 people were injured at a crush amongst the Old Firm football crowd.
The dancers performed their piece at the New Adelphi Theatre at Salford University and participated in dance workshops. They were professional throughout and performed with emotion and excellent technique. We were very proud!
