World Kindness Day

‘The purpose of World Kindness Day is to look beyond ourselves- beyond the boundaries of our country, beyond our culture, our race, our religion and realize we are citizens of the world and that KINDNESS is the common thread that unites us all.’

This year Anti Bullying Ambassadors will be raising awareness of World Kindness Day on the 13th on November and will be carrying out small acts of kindness during lunchtimes and break times. There will be form activities during this week which form tutors can get involved in as well. Our aim is to make everyone feel happy and safe at school and celebrating these important days can help us achieve this. We hope our random acts of kindness bring a bit of joy to your day! 🙂 So, JOIN IN WITH US ON THE 13TH OF NOVEMBER!

P.S. Look out for quotes around school 😉

Anti Bullying Ambassadors 2015

Anti Bullying AmbassadorsThis year, Year 10 and 11 anti bullying ambassadors are aiming to achieve a friendly and welcoming school environment to all pupils. The ambassadors have been trained to ensure pupils feel safe within our school. This year, the year 10 ambassadors have been mentoring Year 7 form groups to help them form friendships at an early stage in their school life in the hope that they keep them throughout the rest of their years. Year 11 ambassadors have also created a film club to help students bond with others.

This year we want to be known throughout the whole school and make sure pupils feel comfortable talking to us about their issues.

Anti Bullying Team

HI there!

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer!

It has been a huge honour for the anti bullying team to receive such a prestigious honour that is the Diana Award.

The Diana Award is presented to inspirational young people who have made a positive difference to the lives of others and their communities. Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors received the group award in the Diana Anti-Bullying Champion category for young people who tackle bullying in schools and communities.

The award was received by a few of our own ambassadors at Facebook HQ at the Anti Bullying Showcase.

This award could not have been achieved without the immense work of the anti bullying team as well as Mrs. Bond’s guidance.

You can also read the full post on the school website here:

A special Thank you to antibullyingpro for the  award and we look forward to what next year will bring!

Hello everyone!

We hope you all enjoyed the easter holidays!                                                                           The new term has officially begun and us Anti Bullying Ambassadors are currently working on a lot of new projects!

We shall be popping into assemblies to speak about websites such as and ways to deal with Cyber-Bullying . Our drop in sessions are also in full swing, and we are currently watching the Harry Potter Series at the Conference room .

Our Pupil friendly policy has also been completed and is being moderated (exciting times!) and may even be in a future homework diary near you soon!

Last term saw us acheive great things too, the launch of our drop ins sessions, a new jazzed up Anti Bully Board and to top it off, a visit form Alex Holmes himself, (CEO of the Anti Bullying Award) and upcoming singing sensation Tich to see and video our progress (more pics and info to be uploaded soon!)

The Power of Words

The Power of Words

Hello Everyone!
Heres a quick post about the power of words.

Whilst we interact and speak to a range of people on many different platforms be it in person or online, its easy to forget the impact of a few words can have on someone. It might just make or break them.

Before you say something: Think, what could happen if I say it?

Happy Easter Holidays everyone!
