This year over 60 students from across the school participated in 2 different Cyber Security competitions run by GCHQ aimed at developing their programming, analytical and cryptography skills while enhancing their awareness of the security needs facing everyone in the modern digitally connected landscape. All the Year 8 students who participated were invited to attend an exclusive 4 day training event run by GCHQ which is a testament to their success and drive to learn new skills in and out of the classroom. All year 10-13 students who participated in CyberDiscovery will gain fast-track access to the competition when it runs again next year.
A tremendous success for the students who have discovered a new passion for Cyber Security or solidified it to become the Cyber Security professionals of the future!
