Plenary Idea

This week’s teaching tip could be used at the end of a lesson for reflection / plenary to find out how confident pupils are with a particular concept, or during form time or discussion time in lessons, to find out what pupils think about a particular topic.

1. Decide on the topic. (You can add this to slide one)

2. Give pupils a few minutes to choose which picture best describes them. Pupils need to explain why they have chosen the picture that best describes them.

Pupils could then discuss their thoughts with others to create a future area for development, or they could share their views with others to start a debate.

If you have a teaching tip that you would like to share, please do forward this to me. Please remember to go onto our wordpress blog and leave a comment on how you have used a past teaching tip.

(Thanks to Clare who sent this week’s tip)
