Geography – Law – Sociology and Social Policy (SSP) – Politics and International Studies (POLIS) 

The programme includes a careers talk, interactive seminars and group-work, and an informal Q&A session with current undergraduate students on the ‘student experience’ here at Leeds. This event aims to provide a showcase of the social sciences, illustrating the breadth of choice available in higher education, and give students a taste of what it’s like to study at university.

Following on from the success of our recent Virtual Open Day, we would like to invite you to meet us in person at our Postgraduate Courses Fair. At the event you will be able to attend subjects sessions, meet staff, pick up a prospectus and find out about postgraduate loans.

This month is also your last chance to apply for the Faculty of Humanities, Languages and Social Science scholarships. We will be offering sixteen scholarships to assist students with financing their Masters studies. Students applying for full or part-time study on any taught Masters Programmes in the Faculty are eligible for these scholarships which will pay 50% of the fees for Masters study. History Taster Day – Nottingham University

Nottingham University welcomes any Y12 student who is interested in or thinking about studying History at university. Students will receive 2 x academic taster sessions, an admissions talk and Q&A, a tour of the university and library/archives session, and an opportunity to meet current staff and students. Attendance is free of charge but students will need to make their own way to campus.
