Team tennis : Thursday 4th June v Stockport Grammar School

The U15 and U13 ‘C’ team splayed against Stockport Grammar ‘A’ teams in this National Schools’ competition.

The Stockport teams proved to be too strong. The year 9 team (playing against a year 10 team) lost 6-0 and the year 8 team put up more of a fight but lost 4-2.

It was a real character building exercise which did the girls good. The year 9’s in particular got very good at saying ‘good shot’ !!!!

Thank you to all who played.

Team Tennis Competition

Our year 10 and year 8 ‘C’ teams played Sale Grammar School ‘A’ teams in this national competition.

The year 10 team won 4-2 but the year 8 team lost 5-1.

Both teams had some very good games. The year 8 match was close as there were 2 tie breaks and one loss 7-5.

For our ‘C’ teams to do so well against ‘A, teams is wonderful.

Well done girls

All parents should be receiving some information and a disclaimer that needs to be signed regarding going whale watching and looking for sharks. It says on the information that we will be going in a cage to look for sharks. We are not going to be doing this. We will be looking for sharks from the safety of our boat!!!

Also…….I have put some other information in your daughter’s register. I am trying all ways to try to get information to you. I know that not everyone gets the emails Miss Cutts-Watson sends out.
