On Thursday 6th July we welcomed 180 eager Year 6 pupils from more than 40 primary schools to our Induction Day. These girls will be our new Year 7 year group from September. The day started in the Main Hall with assembly and an introduction to many of the members of staff at school.
During the day pupils had the opportunity to meet their form tutors, get to know each other better and to sample a range of lessons. They even had the opportunity to navigate around the school site with plenty of them getting lost along the way!
The girls enjoyed themselves and their minds were hopefully put at ease by the experience. Year 7 senior tutor, Mr Lovelady, said “It was wonderful to see so many happy faces. We are all looking forward to welcoming the girls in September and know that they are going to work well together as a year group”.
