31 year 9 students had an introductory presentation to the Siemens Rollercoaster Challenge which we are competing in this year. The challenge has been developed to provide a fun, inspiring, informative and hands on activity for students in years 7,8,& 9 to help develop an understanding of the physics and mechanics required to design, build, test and race their very own miniature Rollercoaster! We have 6 teams who are battling it out to represent AGGS at the finals in July. The students have until 22nd June to design and build the rollercoaster using the kit supplied. We are going to be asking parents and students at the Open Evening on 22nd June to vote for their favourite. Good Luck to all teams.
