A squad of 12 year 7 girls took part in this all day tournament on Sat 7th March in Lytham.

Our scores of 1-0 against Lytham High School : 0-0 against Rossall School, Lancashire and 1-0 against City of London School, London placed us top in our section.

We then played AKS School in the semis. After full time it was 0-0, both teams having chances to score. WE then went to 5 minutes added time with golden goal. Whoever scored first won the game. After having numerous shots on goal AKA scored. We then played for 3rd and 4th and drew 0-0 again against City of London School, placing us joint 3rd in the competition.

A great time was had by all. The girls played some excellent hockey and a great time was had by all. Mrs Finch would like to thank all the parents who transported the girls and supported us throughout the day.

1stX1 v Portadown College, Ireland

After a great season it was disappointing that the team lost 11-1 to this team. It was just one of those days when nothing went right for us and everything went well for them. The best part of the day was when one of their team presented Hannah Wells with a school shirt as Hannah’s dad had been to the school. This was a lovely gesture and a wonderful surprise for Hannah.
