International Food Sale Success

On Friday 24th November we hosted an International Food Sale in aid of Rohingyan refugees. The event was organised by members of the Islamic Society. We received donations of delicious dishes from around the globe which were thoroughly enjoyed by students. Volunteers from Year 12 selflessly gave up their lunchtime to sell food on the stalls. All in all, we made an amazing £300!

All of the proceeds have been donated to Human Appeal, a charity providing essential aid to Rohingyan refugees who have fled from their native Burma (or Myanmar).

You can donate to Human Appeal’s Myanmar campaign here, or to any other charity organisation of your choice.
