Christmas Jumper Day!

Christmas Jumper Day, December 2016On Thursday 15th December, students and teachers  wore Christmas jumpers to school. As  well as it being a lovely start to the Festive Season, we managed to raise £471.39 for CRY (Cardiac Arrest in the Young) in memory of Chloe Waddell who died of a cardiac arrest.

Harvest Festival

Hello from the Charity Committee

Hi we are the Charity Committee.

We meet up every week to discuss new fundraising ideas and organise events to raise money for charity throughout the year. We support a wide variety of charities and have a different charity every term. This term we will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support so we have a range of events planned that will be going on to help support this cause. We took part in The World’s Biggest Coffee morning on Thursday 29th September. Harvest Festival is on the week beginning the 10th October. We are collecting non-perishable goods which will be going to the Trussell Trust Altrincham, who work towards stopping hunger and poverty in South Trafford. We would be very grateful and really want to encourage as many people as possible to bring in anything they can. And lastly, we would like to say a huge thank you to the school for their hard work in raising a massive £1036.63 for Syria in their forms last term and £54 from the Year 11 v Staff rounders match. Well done!
