There is only a few more days to go till we finish school and it’s the Summer holidays!
There are so many different, exciting things to do in the Summer, such as going abroad. However, if you’re not going abroad, here is a list of activities/events that you can do in the holidays:
–Bluedot Music Festival,19th-22nd July at the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Blackden, Cheshire– Bluedot is a 4-day music festival. As well as music, there are live science experiments, immersive artwork and expert talks. It’s a music festival with a hint of science!
–RHS Flower Show, 18th – 22nd July in Knutsford, Chesire– The flower show hopes to get people interested in making the UK a greener, environmentally friendly country. There are galleries of beautiful flowers and plants for you to explore.
–Manchester’s Whiteworth Art Gallery– The art gallery consists of sculptures and abstract art. They also have early morning yoga sessions and social evenings, as well as lots of live stage shows; a fun experience for all!
-Or you could search for the Giant Bee Statues that are all over Manchester from 23rd July to 23rd September- They are positioned inside and outside, in shopping centres and parks. It is to bring communities together and is essentially a life-size scavenger hunt!
Manchester offers a variety of activities and events over the Summer. If you missed the dates to attend this year, save them in your calendar for next year! We hope you have a great time and relax over the holidays.
